The Ontology Summit is an annual series of events (first started by Ontolog and NIST in 2006) that involves the ontology community and communities related to each year’s theme chosen for the summit. The Ontology Summit program is now co-organized by Ontolog, NIST, NCOR, NCBO, IAOA, and NCO NITRD, along with the co-sponsorship of other organizations that are supportive of the summit goals and objectives.

The face to face symposium is free of charge, but all physical attendees must register in advance using this registration form prior to May 8, 2016.
Before coming to the meeting space in Stafford II, you must first obtain a visitor’s badge at the NSF Information and Conference Center Desk. It is located on the first floor of Stafford Place at the North Stuart and 9th Streets entrance. Once you have obtained your visitor’s badge, please proceed to the NCO offices or meeting space in Stafford Place II.

This year’s face-to-face symposium will be May 9 and 10. Several excellent keynote speakers, expert panels, and group discussions are on the docket for this year.
